Currently working on a live set that includes an MPC and I keep getting midi hiccups when I scroll through scenes via my Launchpad. We've uplugged the launchpad and everything is tight as can be. Is there an Ableton/Novation glitch that interferes with midi sync? I'm really disappointed if its gonna be a no-go for the Launchpad in our set. It's made for this software so why is it acting up?
It works great when using Live 8 only. As soon as I introduce another piece of hardware the midi goes out of time. I've tried three different midi interfaces and they all experienced the same lag when I scrolled through scenes via the launchpad. Triggering scenes from the keyboard had no ill effect.

Re: Launchpad is ruining MIDI sync
Hi, perhaps the issue is related to your USB devices. How many do you have plugged in to your computer? Are you using a hub? If you are, is the hub independently powered or bus powered?
Re: Launchpad is ruining MIDI sync
Not using a hub but all my usb ports are being used. I'm writing a set on my studio comp that will be moved to my laptop soon. Hopefully the reduction of usb devices will smooth things out. Right now the biggest problem is scrolling groups of scenes with the up/down arrows on the LP. Doing that really interferes with the timing to the MPC.
