Has the FL5/ Live 4 vst Problem been fixed Yet??

the one where when you load FL5 as a vst it just freezes Live?

nobody has heard of this bug, I thought it was a big problem, it has been for me at any rate, if you're not experiencing this and run fl5 inside live as a vst please post up

I do that,

fruity as a rewire client with live as host.

it's fine.

haven't bothered using it as a VST 'cos I like routing the drums to separate live channels which I cant do as a VST

Have the crash here as well, and bought it specifically to work as a vsti. It´s really boring the way you change between the 2 apps when rewired...

I'm on Windows and can't get it to work either way with the FL5 demo. The demo as rewire slave just takes over the screen and I can't get back to Live (or any other screen for that matter.) Even without FL5 demo running, the options for routing in Live still show FL5 as a choice!

The demo vst locks everything up.

If the demo doesn't work, there is no way I'm shelling out $$ to try out the full version.

same here......Ive been using FL for a while mostly just to make beats in that wonderfull step sequencer but lately Ive been getting more into FL so I thought Id rewire into Live BUT what the hell is going with the rewire implementation? No matter what I click on I cant get back to Live.

i fixed it by staying with live 4.01. the bug started with 4.02, and i don't care why or how because fl5 is my most important piece of software. i use it to build my synth rigs for my wind synth. live is great as a "console" to slot it into, not as a replacement. i need both for performance work and besides...4.01 works just fine for me.

I'm using Live 4.01 and every time I load fruity as a vsti it freezes everything right up and I have to reboot the whole damn machine. as far as rewire goes, it works ok, but I don't want rewire, I want vst, also for some damn reason when I load up fl as a vsti I get the fl rewire panel too just as if I had loaded it in rewire mode,
what gives?
