I've been dealing with this problem for awhile now. I mix Electro House, usually around 128-130 bpm. Even after warping a track, a kick or snare will have an awkward sound to it. It's not every note, maybe just 1 hit in the whole track. The listener might not hear this but it annoys me that I have a glitch like that happening. It feels like the hit loses it's velocity. It's hard to explain but I'm sure others who mix with this genre in Ableton might know what I mean. I'd like to know is this a warping issue? That's what I figured but it happens to tracks that are warped perfectly to the bpm as well. Is this glitch just part of the "game"? Or?
Also, I add warp markers every 8 bars (If need be)...Am I not doing enough to make my tracks sound perfectly? Should I do it every 4 bars?
Snare+kick notes hitting awkwardly in DJ set in Live 8..

I do less than one every 8 bars.
It also depends on what 'mode' you are using. Transients mode really likes to jumble things up because it aligns the slices per-transient (all the gray triangles).
