question about apc 40 and ableton

this is probably a newbie question given that i am a noob.

i'm using a apc40 which i just purchased today. I have an audio effect rack on my drums that i'm slowly dialing in more and more effects for a dance music type build and then what i want to be doing is killing those effects while simultaneously launching the next scene.
problem is, once i click the next scene launch it takes my audio effect rack out of focus on the apc's device control so then it's difficult for me to kill all those effects by the time the scene launches.

is there a way for me to launch the scene without it taking my audio rack out of focus?

or really just any simple solution?
i know that there is a number of ways i could do this but i'm trying to keep it as simple as possible.
