automatic delay compensation

Hi,
I have a little question.

There is a (third party)compressor on a bus. It produces more or less latency, depending on the render-quality.

Question:
Does the automatic delay/latency compensation reduce the latency of that track to zero, during mixdown?

(During mixing a low latency setting with less quality-->before mixdown all setting to high quality-->Automatic delay compensation prevents from timing issues between tracks...!..?)
