Help - Electronic drumset MIDI out > Ozonic Firewire >Live7

Thank you for reading and for any help on this! My device and software manual reading and internet searches have not helped, so I am asking for help. HELP!

My goal is to record MIDI events/info by playing my electronic drum set in Live 7. I am a drummer. I have the drum kit now hoping to use this method rather than pressing piano keys for MIDI drum compostions. Ozonic sends MIDI signals just fine with piano keys pressed and Live's drumkits react as usual. I just can't seem to get Live to react hitting the triggers of my electronic drumset passing thru the Ozonic.

THE SET-UP:
Yamaha DTXpress IV - MIDI Out >-----> M-Audio Ozonic MIDI In
. M-Audio Ozonic FireWire out >-----> PC sound card firewire input
. PC sound card >------> Live7.0.18 running on PC w/ Windows XP

I have armed and set track to ALL INS and ALL CHANNELS and the piano keys trigger MIDI just fine. MIDI ports in Live's Preference panel are all set to ON.
MIDI Preferences:
"Control Surface" - "Input"
1. Ozonic - Ozonic Keyboard MIDI
2. Ozonic - Ozonic External MIDI

I've tried different channels output from the E-drumset, with no luck..... Should that even matter if I have ALL CHANNELS selected in Live's track?
I have tried both MIDI Out modes available on the Ozonic Keyboard with the same result.
