Loop Record Question. Please Help.

I have just been loop recording Midi for the first time - laying on different layers each time the loop goes around. This is fine.

However, I cannot work out how to loop record Audio Tracks in this way. I tried with a guitar.

Please can you let me know if this is possible. So far I have only done this using the Looper which is not what I wanted to do.

I don't believe there's any way to keep overdubbing audio on top of Live clips like you can with MIDI. I believe the looper device is actually designed to get around this limitation. Is there a particular reason why you don't want to use the looper?

Thanks for your reply Bob - no reason other than I have yet to work out how to get it to loop for an extended period of time.

I will have a look around online to see how to use it efficiently and maybe it'll do the job. Also I need to see what footswitch I can use with it.
