Stylus rmx update 1.2 problems

I cant seem to get the effects patches to install. tried the correct paths on custom install etc etc but to no avail:
/Users/YourUserName/Library/Application Support/Spectrasonics/SAGE/Stylus RMX/Patches/Effects

anyone experiencing the same problems ?

Yes! And I found out that my problem was that the orignal installation had put the SAGE folder directly under the Mac HD root (and then an alias at the location you descibe). This resulted in only the plug-in update being possible to installe. Pointing the installer manually did not work at all. But I moved the SAGE folder manually to my user folder (Appl Support/... etc etc) and then all presets also could be installed with the "easy install" method.

Speaking about RMX, here's anoterh questiaon:
RMX does not show up in Live here. What to do?

I suppose you already tried to re-scan your plug in folders ?
