*SOLVED* Live 8.2.1 failed to start - Win 7 x64

I've recently done a fresh install of Windows 7 Pro x64 and Ableton Live 8.2.1. When attempting to launch Live, I get the following error :

The Application has failed to start because its side-by-side configuration is incorrect. Please see the application event log or use the command-line sxstrace.exe tool for more detail.

Anyone have any info on the cause of this?

I uninstalled the Visual C++ 2010 redistributable and Live, rebooted and reinstalled the Visual C++, reinstalled Live, and now it loads just fine.
