presets in live device browser not showing up but...

hi all,

i just moved my library to an external drive and i am not able to see the presets for audio effects etc in the live device browser but they do show up in the application support/ableton/library/preset/audio effects/... when i go to access these in the live device browser i see a "current project temp folder" for all the instruments, midi effects, and audio effects. i have repaired my library and with no luck. what am i doing wrong? please help...
