Hello - I am using a m-audio keystatopm pro88. Sometimes Live just seems to drop the device altogether - no remote control or notes - and I have to exit Live, eject the m-audio device from the system (windows 2000), power on & off the m-audio controller and then start Live again. (Can still use the mouse though to change things - just no remote control at all nor midi notes)
I thought maybe it was the midi controller itself but noticed that the computer keyboard remote control assignments also do not register when this happens so think that it is Live dropping these devices/assignments.
Perhaps 'dropping' the control assignments is the wrong phrase though as the input display registers nothing when I hit a key or midi controller = it seems to not be receiving any input signal at all. I have to restart the Live to get these back.
I am afraid to do a live show fearing that Live will drop the remote control assignments and midi devices on me mid-performance.
Any help is much appreciated!
