I feel like this is something really obvious that I'm missing, but I'm wondering if there's any way to do track-dependent midi control. In other words, you could have a filter on four different tracks, but the Midi CC would only control the filter on the active track.
Even if this isn't possible out of the box in Ableton, perhaps there is some way to hack it with Max 4 Live?
