a little help for frustrated M-Audio interface users

Post by chango blanco » Sat Mar 05, 2011 11:38 pm

SHORT VERSION:
click on the link below if you're fed up with your M-Audio interface

Long Version:
Been using an M-Audio FW410 for years and always had issues with pops and dropouts...tried adjusting buffer and sample rates in Live and control panel, installed new hardware components in the computer, toyed with IRQs, blah blah blah....nothing ever really seemed to work
Picked up a Project Mix i/o (reluctantly but it was such a ridiculously good deal, I couldn't pass it up) and HOPED because I now had M-Audio's high end interface, all my problems would be fixed.

Nope.
...but i came across this driver and it's like a Godsend

and my Project Mix is amazing...my work flow has improved 5 fold!!!
