I'm using Ableton with Snow Leopard on a Mac Pro spread across 2 screens. In previous versions this was fine. However in Ableton 8 it is really slowing the smoothness of the graphics down.
I reverted back to tiger OS and it fixed the problem, however I now have to come back to using Snow Leopard for various reasons.
Does anyone know of a fix for this??
I have seen other people with the same problem but have not found a solution.
I think the problem lies with Ableton rather than my hardware because other programs (logic) do not suffer from this. I have updated the graphics drivers, and increased my RAM to 6GB, but still no joy.
