Takeover mode doesn't work (AKAI LPD8)

Hi!
Can you, please, help me to solve the problem with AKAI LPD8 controller, version Ableton 8.

I have assigned the volume level of the first channel to the first fader of the first preset, the volume level of the se?ond channel to the first fader of the second preset. When I turn the fader in the first preset the volume level of the first channel changes, if I swtch to the second preset and turn the first fader the volume level of the second channel "jumps" to the level of the first one. It doesn't wait until I turn the fader to the right position and then, if the volume level are equal, starts to work normal. It "jumps" to the to the position the fader in at the moment. I think, that the Takeover mode doesn't work. I've tried to turn on none/pickup/value scaling in the preferences but it didn't worked

I've heard that the KORG NANO KONTROL has the same problem.

Any ideas how to fix it? Thanks

you mean knobs, not faders, right?

hmm, maybe check what the presets are, using the akai editor software.

i found a script somewhere on the forum that lets me use the 8 knobs to "automap" to macros, which is great. and it supports takeover (you get a yellow "waiting for parameter pickup" message).

The knobs work fine. The promlem is in the faders.

There aren't any faders in that picture...you're pointing to the knobs....
If it helps at all, I own a nanokontrol and I haven't had any problems with either the knobs or faders, they'll start picking up at the point they reach the virtual setting and then move smoothly from there. Not sure what's happening with your LPD8 though...
