Sorry, I know this belongs into the M4L section.

okay, I didn't read and click on ... everything ... maxforlive.com keeps all the apps for M4L.

... okay convinced - after all complaining about the money I have to give away ... I bought Max for Live (M4L), because of the April 30% off.
Perhaps I didn't understand this M4L-thing right, sorry I'm not a code-maniac and most of the time just use Live as I used hardware tools before: Plug the keyboard/mic/external instrument in, record and filter, master, finally I'm happy with some music files on my HDD - or I have my tracks ready for performing them live. And some existing M4L-tools seem to improve the production and live acting.
CELL DNA by Livid Instruments is a very nice VJ programme, I had to use in parallel to Live before.
Now I can trigger video sequences just from any track in Live 8.
CELL DNA does a lot more things with videos - so the existing M4L-VJ-apps are not able to replace it.
But I had to pay more than the fee for a new CELL DNA-licence, for a MAX 5-runtime (M4L) plugin, sold by Ableton.
Just to make use of a FREE M4L-scripts from Livid Instruments.
