So im confused about the grey arrows. Ok so if i take the looper 1 measure and warp it I used to think just make sure the gray arrows are on the center of the number 1 1.2 1.3 1.4 ( Im warping techno 4/4 beat ) and make sure that "2" isnt in the measure but right on the center of 2.
I thought ableton did a pretty good job of preditcing where to put the arrows at but i noticed even though some of the arrows are off, the begining of the wave did start on the numbers stated above . So heres my question
1- Do I just trust the arrows and make sure they land on the correct numbers or do i make a guess of where there supposed to be ,,im kind of lost, cause i noticed some times even when the arrows are off it still sounds on beat, should I just trust my ears and forget the visual even if its off
Warping another question ???

Trust your ears, trust your bars.
If your bars are lining up, then everything fine.

Coo as in bars you mean make sure the wave form lines up with the numbers and forget where they put those gray arrows ,,cause those sometimes are off , and not set to the begining of the wave????

As long as the loop sound right at the beginning and end of each 1 bar loop, the middle is up to to you whether you want to make it adhere to a grid.
The more it adheres to the grid, the more "rigid" and some would say "lifeless" the song can sound. All depends on your genre and actual recording.

Im making techo its a 4/4 beat. So generally it falls on the grid of 1 1.2 1.3 and 1.4 and 2.0 . What i was saying it those warp markers or gray arrows will sometimes be off slightly to the left or right of those numbers indicating that the beat is off. BUT i actually notice the waveform falls in line with the numbers, meaning the gray arrow doesnt start at the 0 axis of where the waveform starts. I can just use my ears, which is a good indicator but i was just curious if other techno DJs run into this .
