Chain Selector Causing Pop and Clicks

There are multiple chains of Beat Repeats in my audio effect unit. I have them all on separate chains and the chain selector mapped to the first macro control. When I move the macro control I hear a click or pop when it's changing to the new unit. Any ideas on preventing it?

The short answer is Ableton have confirmed to me that they can reproduce the problem but that there is not going to be a fix for it anytime soon. We just have to live with it or not use audio effect racks in this way.
