sending audio to instument

ok i have successfully sent audio from an audio channel to a midi channel running native instruments vokator.

now i am trying to do the same only into native instruments FM7, which has an audio input...

but the midi channel which is running FM7 does not show up as an option to send audio to from the output of the audio channel.

i checked again that this was exactly how i did it with vokator by loading that into another channel and it works fine, it shows up, but FM7 doesnt.

sorry if this sounds a little confusing, and maybe nobody else out there is trying this, but it seems to me like an inconsistency that shouldnt be, since they are both native instruments plugins...

any help or info or reply or *BUGFIXES* would be greatly appreciaed!!!

ok im dumb...

i coulda swore i tried this, but i guess not-
i didnt have the IN "operator" (not really an operator, but it's in the operator matrix) turned on.

when it's on, it werx just fine!
