Max/MSP does as well. and if i'm not mistaken Henke is a fan of Max/MSP, so maybe you will see OSC in v. 5

but $2500 is out of my budget. maybe if the LCD was a little larger....

Too expensive...

Post by The Mysterious Flying Pum » Tue Feb 01, 2005 4:17 pm

It is also out of my budget infortunately ;-)
...but it is good to know than some people also innovate in hardware controllers. I am happy with my UC33 but it would be fun to put my fingers on this new animal...
Cheers

What's OSC all about?

I googled for it, and while I was able to find the wonderful website of the old south church, I didn't find a good site that says what OSC can do...

I heard somewhere that the latency on this product was horrendous.

I may be wrong and it's simply acceptable, but still, let's not ask for things like OSC just for this control surface that most of us wont buy when there's other pressing issues in Live. Anyways, if you want higher resolution Live can handle 14 bit values for tweaks smoother than a baby's ass.

welll, yeah, at first glance maybe.... But remember a touch screen can only track one finger at a time. this can track all ten (i think, confirm anybody?)

amazing, i really think this kind of thing is the future.

i think its not the controller which makes the music. its our brain, no matter which controlling device we have.
