Setting dedicated transposition knobs w/ APC40?

I'd like to map out my APC40 so that specific knobs adjust the transposition of specific clips in Live. As it stands now, I've got it set up so that one knob will control the transposition of whichever clip is currently selected. What I'd like, for example, is for knob #1 to transpose clip #1 only, and for knob #2 to transpose clip #2, etc, regardless of whichever clip/sample is selected at the time. Is this possible?

Sorry Jeremy it's not, is there another way round using the pitch plugin for midi for example??
