I've been playing round with ideas inspired by my my fave techno records, namely Trax on da Rocks Volumes 1 & 2, by the ever talented Mr. Bangalter of Daft Punk fame..
If you aren't aware, these two records were considered totally awesome back in the 90s and my personal opinion is that no-one has made better techno to this day.. I like them so much..
Anyways, my new music project is inspired by this music, and is named Mayan Tangent, this is my first doodles with regards to finding 'that' sound..

Let me know what you think, I've got busy with the valve distortion, but it's eating headroom a bit, probably needs more time on the mixdown, but the general essence is there I think..
All mixed down in Live 6 (I can't afford to upgrade yet - bah lol).
