iMac/PCI Audio Interface Compatibility

Hey everyone I was just wondering do iMac computers support PCI Audio Interfaces or would I have to get a firewire based audio interface? Im a little confused on what type I should get with a iMac and what they support does anyone have any suggestions at all for what type I should get? I heard that PCI is the better than firewire but i dont think that all in one iMacs support them... In that case what type of apple computer should i get? I need to know what the best type of apple is for a DJ/Producer, thanks.
