Ableton crashes frequently @ song load
I have a feeling it's actually one of my plugins. But it's so difficult to isolate. I have a few songs in particular which are very complex, and I have to literally do about 3-4 times per session: attempt load, observe crash, restart, before it finally loads up. Is there any way to isolate the failure point without shredding the song bit by bit, loading it over and over until it can load safely 10 times in a row? In other words, is brute force my only option to troubleshooting?

Re: Ableton crashes frequently @ song load
This sure sounds like a plugin problem to me. I don't know of any better way than brute-forcing it.
However, instead of deconstructing your existing work, maybe try making a new project and adding plugins to it until one of them breaks?
Ableton's tech support might be able to help you too. I think Live generates a crash report when something like that happens, which they might be able to read.
Best of luck to you.
