Hey, I have recently tried to test out how my processor handles the amount of voices being produced because I purchased a new computer. I started by opening up massive and setting the number of voices per note to 64. Ableton reported my CPU usage at 150% but there was no increase in fan speed so I decided to open up Windows task manager which went from 4% to 14%. I'm curious as to why Ableton reports 150% when barely any of my CPU is being utilized. My processor is an Intel 2630QM, I realize Ableton is a 32 bit application but I still would expect better utilization of my resources. Is anyone able to help elaborate on why this is occurring?

What was your memory usage during the test?

Memory usage didn't change, remained at 1.98 gigs out of 6.
