Hi. Just did the new OS upgrade that was released today and 8.2.2 shows the op-1 as an input and as an output in Ableton options /preferences, with no extra drivers or ableton upgrades.
Using CTRL & Shift I can switch MIDI channels.
The blue dial shows ABS and REL as two actions.
Green goes through the MIDI Channels (no omni).
White seems to go from sending cc's to keyboard notes out w/tiny keyboard in the tiny laptop screen when I hit a key, midi is with the shift key down.
Any beta testers out there able to receive external MIDI in yet? I understand a wireless sync is coming. Wondering if the internal fm chip also, gulp, sends audio/midi, wouldn't that be the cat's anus.

Hmm. Just got an email about NOT upgrading as some have issues. No issues here with windows 7 32 bit. Lu when you say ipad sync are you getting midi or just locking to tempo of the ipad?

Hey Blu: New frickin OS 11855 on the site, flawless install os is double in size, loaded with presets, a hell of a sine sub so low I need my sennhesier hd430s to hear/feel it. Dozens of minor issues I rarely noticed solved but here is the biggie:
in ableton 8.2.1 its just "there" clock is driving a VST and responding to the knobs, I'm driving VST's off the op-1 sequencers and playing along all off usb and it looks and sounds locked to me. No rescan, no drivers no fiddly things to do its just there and running, so sweet. Last os was 6.5 meg this one is about 14 meg. Just do a disk format before dragging and dropping the os on

Re: OP-1 Teenage Engineering and Ableton
Dunno if this thread is still going but I can't get midi out on ableton to go into OP-1.
OP-1 shows up in Ableton's midi preference box but never appears in the output dropdown on a midi channel.
Any help if anyone's still on this thread.
