I've been wanting to jam online with my kid brother ..

I need a setup where he would host a 'server' .. and I'll run as 'client'
and where I could stream audio and sync over the internets..
(similiar functionality to NINJAM.. )

is there such a thing somewhere ?
even a max patch which I could 'convert' would be awesome

Why not just use NINJAM? There's a server/client for using it without Reaper (afaik), or you could ReWire the audio from Live to Reaper.

first... I think its a bit clumsy..
second...how can I get it to work without Reaper?
(can you post a link please?)
.. we've tried using the Ninjam software but its way too clumsy as is (routing through Reaper etc. )
and having trouble connecting to the server..
