Master Clip in my own time in Session View?

Hi,

and realized that I could use some help of my own:
I realize that Master Tempo can be taken over via the the clip warp settings if that clip is placed in a channel in arrange mode and set to master. I can even copy the Master Channels Tempo adjustment automation lane.
Thing is, anything that is done in the time line is subject to the time line. I like to play a lot of analog tunes, but if I'm working in a DJ set in session view, I may not know in absolute time when I get around to a particular track, despite wanting that track to act as a master tempo (maybe I want to do some corny play along stuff on an arpeggiator for example, but I don't want the song itself to sound warped.)

How might you suggest transitioning
from unwarped tracks to strict tempo warped tracks
to warped tracks that behave as unwarped tracks but nonetheless synchronize the master tempo (so as to match delay times, looped elements, whatev)
to straight tempo or unwarped tracks again?

If I inevitably need to go into arrangement view for these types of transitions, how do you suggest cueing up that track/hitting back to arrangement/etc as a fluid continuation of what I'm doing in session? Should I be djing in arrange view as some do? What would help me overcome the apparent awkwardness in making the shift to arrangement view?

are there any new QA beta guys willing to work this one out with me? I'll start to gather links to DJs who prefer to perform in arrangement view, and maybe you could help me uncover some trends.
