native tracker notation for midi clips as switchbetween mode

upen a midi-clip, piano roll. hit [free-modifier]+TAB et voila you're in tracker notation.
look up ReViSiT or Renoise, but I'm sure you've seen your way around.

tracker notation is superior for quick sequencing and depending on how you design the velocity/pitch/effect columns, in a way more precise (unless you're willing to do alot of manual grunt work with envelopes in pianoroll envelope edit).

A traditional (inherent since DOS sample tracker design) volume(velocity)+effects columns wouldn't be spot on. rather a column each for velocity, panning, pitch, vibrato each with toggle:ability between numericals and a vertical envelope.

if you've ever programmed highly rhythmical sequences and leads with pitch slides and/or precise vibrato on nearly every note in a tracker you'd know the pros I'd like to think.

Thanks for the best DAW!
