Deep House trac

Post by Proj3ktDharma » Mon Jun 13, 2011 3:30 am

Deep House track, with a mellow mood and a touch of chilled out with a lazy attitude, perfect to do the farniente on a hot summer afternoon.

Good groove and style, not really deep though, there's not much going on in the low end. Could definitely use some more thump on the kicks, and the bassline is barely audible. Otherwise nice groove, I'd play something like this out for outdoor summer DJ sets.

musicality - great stuff and well executed. definitely a chill summer house tune.
technicals - lacked sub bass, it definitely had low frequency sounds, but definitely lacked that sub bass frequency which I love to feel from main kicks

Liking the percussion, and the reverby chords. I agree with the other posters though, could use some low end

yeh, lush groove. but there needs to be a few build ups and more thump to the kick. also reckon the a different sample for the snare work better - or try tuning your current snare. get a nice sub bass to boost the groove - thats what this is lacking. the actual synths and pads sound great tho. if u can, please check out my latest upload:
