Using Reason yet real-time rendering does not work

Hey fam,
Thanks for taking the time to read and help out each other! I'm a relatively new User as I come from a primarily Pro Tools background.
I created a song that I want to export the stems of (or for that matter the whole mix too) and a couple of the instruments in the song are in Reason. For some reason the real time rendering does not happen automatically and my reason instruments do not come through at all! Either in the stems or in the whole mix. It's very strange since everything is working fine otherwise. Beyond that, I returned to the session today to try again and realized to remember to arm the reason audio tracks before bouncing... but I did this before anyway. Didn't matter but now I do have one additional problem that I have a feeling might be something stupid but my arrangement is silent now. I can play clips and scenes and get audio no problem, but my recorded arrangements just produce silence.

Any ideas? The main issue is the real time rendering! Why isn't it happening. The manual says it's automatic. Thanks!
