Connecting Live for collaboration (Not only syncing them)

Hey all,

We are currently planning a project, where 12 musicians, using Ableton Live, get together for one night to create music together.
Therefore I'm thinking of ways of interacting with each other. We'll certainly Midi-sync all of the 12 computers. We'll also establish a LAN-Network to share clips and also share audio over a so called "audio-pool" (a Computer running Live, that exclusive purpose is to route the audio-output of the 12 collaborators to each other).

Although these are quite powerful ways for working together, we are wondering if you guys can think of more instant ways of interacting. Maybe even interfering with each others set through Max 4 Live.
