Huh, I guess I found the community troll.
Anyway Scu this sounds like a great idea to help people (like me!) learn, and I gotta go now but I'll be sure to check out the lesson and give more feedback when I get back!
If you didn't cover it in that lesson, I would also like to request a lesson on the basic general aspects of the Mixing and Digital World. Maybe some highlights on who some great, big-name-in-the-community DJ/Producers are for newbs to all this (are we even called DJ/Producers or is that different?)
Maybe some basic explanations of genres (and examples of songs from them), and key differences to each genre. (I'm not quite sure what House even is) (Or what a 909 is.)
Cover Sound qualities and different parts (like bass, mids, highs, ADSR and stuff I probably don't know, and how they effect how a mix sounds.) and the general philosophy and stuff.
You know, like a welcome page or something.
(OH, and MIDI workings, that's essential)
And I like that they won't rely on video, because you have to load that and a lot of the time it freezes on/off for me.
