Help this Moron organize his Live folders

Post by Faldoe » Sun Jul 03, 2011 6:15 pm

So I have one main folder that houses all my LIVE sets and recordings. My problem is that I have different projects/genres of Sets broken up into folders but these folders don't contain the recorded wavs. All wavs are in one main folder in "Samples>Recorded"

How do I organize everything so each set has with it the appropriate wavs? Lately other wavs from other projects get thrown into wrong sets!!!

To clarify, I have one main Project folder with 256 sets!

I'm pretty sure the option you're looking for is File > 'Collect All and Save'. Check yes to all and you should have everything you need saved to that path.

probably live considers all your sets to be part of one project that is contained in your main folder. Save your sets outside of this folder, creating a new project for each set (or group of sets that belong together), do an "collect al and save" and each project folder should contain all samples ppertaining to this set.
