Novation SL MKll feature

I want to buy a novation controller in order to control better Ableton.
The thing is on the Novation SL MKll there are just 8 sliders, so is it possible that same fader to control different channels volumes...like the selected track or something like that ?

To control the volume of a 'selected' track, you would have to use the Tranzport script hack. I've got to say though, I really like my mkii :)

Can u explain in more detail? Does that answer my question?

The faders control a bank of 8 channels at a time, inc return tracks and master fader. To move across banks you hold the preview button down and press the right arrow on the controller.

Great controller! Pair it with the LaunchPad for a killer combo! Let me know it you need any other info.
