Query re: Upgrading

I'm not sure if this is the right thread for this post; if not I apologise in advance but I've looked around and can't find any answer to this one..

I'm looking to purchase both Ableton 8 Suite *Upgrade* boxed ed and the Novation Launchpad together.

My question is: Do I *need* to install Ableton 8 Launchpad Edition first, THEN the Ableton 8 Suite Upgrade including boxed elements, then the latest version of of the suite from the download page, or can do you get the option just to enter serial codes and be done with 2 installs (downloaded & the additional boxed products).

I traditionally hate having to work with multiple installs and upgrades causing messy clutter and being generally painful.

It's been a while since I bought Live, but I think all they need is the serial to be registered to your account, and I think you can do that through the website.

Double check with Ableton support of course.... they'll be more official than I am, and they've always been quite friendly to me.
