I'm trying to work on a collab with someone else. They sent me the .als file and the corresponding .mp3 files used in the track along with the .asd files. When I load the .als file, I can see the outline of the song arrangement in the arrangement view, but the samples are missing "offline". When I tried to manually search for them, the files themselves were grayed out and not loadable.
How do I remedy this? (sorry if this was asked before I tried to search)
Can't load samples from another .als

Re: Can't load samples from another .als
The person who set you the .als file most likely didn't do a "collect all and save"
This can get messy, but it's VERY IMPORTANT that each project has it's own folder. This keeps your files organized and clean. Have them collect all and save the project and send you the PROJECT FOLDER, not just the .als file. And before you send back, collect all and save.
