Thinking about getting Live on my home computer, but when I brought home my M-Audio Oxygen 8 (v1 afaik) things got odd. I have the demo version right now, but it should be fully featured. On my other computer I have 8.0.3 and things work fine. At home, my Oxygen 8 works with Massive and Reason without any trouble.
In Live 8.2.2 midi plays from piano roll. But using the computer midi keyboard (asdfghjk) notes *sometimes* work and are sometimes delayed, don't register, or get stuck until I kill the track. With the Oxygen 8 (properly set up with track and remote) I get the box in the top right corner blinking yellow (registering) but it doesn't route to any midi track armed and set to accept from all input and all channels.
Has anyone seen anything like this before? My other PC and my laptop are both fine, and my laptop is on 8.2.2 (haven't tried oxygen with laptop though)
Contacted Ableton support, haven't heard back yet. Any help is appreciated!!

the reason for this business is that I'm trying the demo for live LITE to see if I can use it productively or if I need to buy a fuller version.
