Is it possible to toggle between samples in a Drum Rack?

If I cmd+drag 5 different kick drums to note C1 in a drum rack, they all play at once. Is it possible to toggle between samples so that you can select them independently?

I'd like to build a single drum rack that contains about 10 different kicks and snares, and have them only assigned to C1 and D1, but be able to choose which of the different samples are to be played.

My solution would be to group your multiple simplers in an instrument rack and use the chain selector to choose which is played.
