Baltimore or Annapolis?

Post by RottenToTheGore » Tue Jul 12, 2011 12:45 pm

(I'm in Anne Arundel County myself)

Are there any get togethers for people in the area? I'd love to just observe and learn more about using Ableton.

Interesting :) I actually work in Bowie.

But I'm as un-Maryland as you can get. Never liked crabs and hate thin, square pizza. But I'll have someone else do it for you!

Geez, I think my grandparents did too. They lived on Keystone Lane. Small world.

Might as well ask here while I'm at it... I'm using Ableton on a desktop so I couldn't bring any kind of setup, but is it wrong if I just observe and chat? I think I learn better by seeing things done you know?

I'm in the general area but instead of just being part of a user's group, I'm looking for someone to collaborate with & perform with, integrate live instruments and vocals too.

There was a users group I found on craigslist. It was nice to meet other users but I didn't learn a many new tricks or how to use Live. That was a few months ago.

Sorry to bump it up, but I'm still looking for someone to learn with. Appreciate IcedSushi taking the time to reply to my PM, but I'm so new I wouldn't be worth his time lol.

So still looking. Anyone who is new, and wants to just chill out and learn how to make some tunes send me a PM. We could even meet in a public place and just chat as I'm sure no one wants a total stranger in their studio.

But yeah, would love to learn with someone in the area. Or even just watch someone who knows what they're doing to watch them work and gain pointers.

Thanks!

And if it's that big of a deal, I can offer Ledo's pizza! lol.
