creating a scene that doesn't stop clips from other scenes

Post by JagPaw » Wed Jul 13, 2011 9:55 pm

So I know this is possible because I paid for and a played around with a Moguai set that I got from Beatport. In this set they have particular scenes that do not stop all the clips in the previously playing scene. They only stop the clips that are in tracks in which the new scene contains clips.

For example, you have 4 tracks and 2 scenes.
Scene one has a clip in tracks 1 and 2. Scene two has a clip in tracks 2, 3, and 4.
I play scene one. Then I trigger scene two to play. The result is that in track two, the clip is replaced with the slip in scene two but in track one, scene one, the clip remains playing.

I hope this makes sense, thanks in advance for the help!

Additionally, the reason I want to do this is so I can have a on-the-beat tempo change going to the next scene and then fade out the lingering clips from the previous scene.

So RIGHT after posting this, I figured it out. Just Remove the Stop Button!
