I would find it more usefull if we could forward in the clip while prelistening.
Like in Traktor, there the waveform appears at the bottom and you can click into for jumping around.
Greetings

Yes yes and yes, I too want the ability to quickly "needle drop" my longer files in Live's browser. Just a small, basic slider (ala the crossfader) at the bottom of the browser would be great.
More folders too please.

What I would really like to see is a feature that allows you to browse sounds and music, and auto sort by name, artist (if its a full song) the key of the song, the tempo, etc. This would be soooo useful for djing if you have a large .mp3 library and want to browse your files in a certain way. If it was expandable, it would not take up too much space.

Press the right arrow key once you have a loop highlighted. It's not the best work around but if you keep pressing the right arrow key you can keep the loop playing along with the global quantization of your arrangement that is playing. I totally agree though that while previewing they need to let loops LOOP!
Is this a new feature of v5? Because I'm using v4 and I have no idea how to do what you are saying. I push the right arrow (at least my computer keyboard's right arrow; not sure what you're talking about) and nothing happens....DJSK wrote:Press the right arrow key once you have a loop highlighted. Could you explain a bit more?
Thanks.
