10.3.8 osx- bug??

hi,

i upgrade my osx panther to 3.8.

in live 4.1
when i load or erase a effect to a slot
then comes a noizklick.
this cut the mastersignal for very short time.

before i upgradet to 3.8
was ok,sure..

Also das ist für mich ein Live 4 feature..

Was there before 10.38 and is still there... maybe you just didnt realised before because to much breakbeat terror?

As long the plugs are not latencie compensated they shift the timing after insertion... Workarounds are using the same plugs on all relevant tracks or using the bufferdelay Au ( free/shareware)...

hmm.
i am stupid....

my girlfriend turns on the sample-buffer.
that makes the breaks,clicks cuts when i load efx.
10.3.8 and live 4 is ok.

ok guys..why should I update my pbook to 10.3.8? ..I mean,, I use just for audio..no internet , no video, no chat etc,, just for run audio apps..

are u notice some really important improvements on your system with this update? mainly I have seen people with problems here and other forums regardings this update

performance? fw? cpu? something really useful?

I only get problems from update.
I only use it for audio, too.
yeah maybe the update may give my FW little 1MB better speed,
but the whole problem of the system is worse then that 1MB.
That's why I stopped updating the OS.

Love to update the softwares and the plugs, though.
Do you update your apps quite often???

good to know that

I only do updates when I really need it, and with osx I do not plan to update unless a really good useful audio-performance-fw improvement come with it ..
