Question regarding builing a drum library.

I am looking to build my own ultimate drum library. I have drum pack, that is fill with mic raw drum. The plan is to start layering, processing, A bunch a raw kicks and snares.

I am wondering if anybody would suggest how I, or they would go about this process. I want to do it all in ableton.

Im guessing i should just start loading a drum rack and start experimenting.

Any body else $0.02 would be nice.

sounds like you are on the right track....for good drum sample packs.....check out "goldbaby" and the deadmau5 xfer sample pack.....rightous stuff!
