Id like to set up scales that don't necessarily repeat after one octave.
eg to feed random notes into a scale that just selects the notes that fall on the degrees of a 13th chord spread over 2 octaves..
or more generally for randomly generated serial music using tone rows of any length.
Scales over more than one octave.
Scales over more than one octave.

Re: Scales over more than one octave.
hat's possible with the existing devices: you can set up a midi effect rack that contains one scale effect for each octave (using the note-ranges for the chain selector).
Once you have that you can easily edit each octave's scale.

Re: Scales over more than one octave.
How about have 128x128 midi note router (instead of 12x12 we have right now)?
That would be ideal also for remapping drum kits etc.
