oxygen8 extension install

anyone else have trouble getting the midiman oxygen8 USB midisport series 3.02 install app to actually install the proper sysfolder/OMS extensions in their respective places?

the manuals says there should be extensions labeled 'KEYSTATION' placed into extesion folders during install (providing OMS 2.3.8 is in place), and after infinite combinations - OMS will not find my oxygen8.

after trying previous release driver installs off m-audio's site, i finally got an install that OMS identifies as 'Keystation Series', but even when i 'test studio' in OMS, it doesnt look like im getting any signal.

live! sees keystation series drivers in the midi preferences, but testing it in midi map mode selecting a volume or fx knob and then tuning a knob on the oxygen8, still gets nothing.

using live! 1.0.3 w/ mac os 9.2, g3 bronze powerbook.

im at a complete loss, any suggestions will be more than appreciated.

haha. the second i post about it (after 2 weeks of internal stressing), i go back and try more combinations - and blingo, it works.

creating a new studio in OMS was the ticket. thanks anyway.
