Best way to get ableton project into logic

Post by thamantra » Thu Aug 18, 2011 9:22 pm

Hey all,

I know there are a couple of ways of going about doing this, I would just like to get some advice on what your favorite way of going about it. I like to sequence and arrange all of my music in ableton these days but I still like to do my vocal takes in logic. I understand that rewire is a good route to go, the only problem I have with rewire is that I have to keep switching back and forth between programs if I want to make tweaks to the mix and I like to see the arrangement on logic's interface to give me a better idea of how the vocals so should go. I also understand that I could bounce all of my tracks to disk and then import them into logic, but in that case, I wouldn't be able to use ableton's processing anymore. I also sequence my drums in drum rack, so technically I would no longer be able to manipulate each drum sound if I just bounced the drum rack track in its entirety.

Does anyone have any suggestions for me?

Thanks
