Trial version included with apc 40

I just bought an APC40
It included live8.1 but
It was a massive pita to get this to even load (read my rant ) and update.
So, will this version of ‘live8.2’ expire in 29 days, leaving me high and dry ? Or will I be able to continue to use this software in the very same manner as it is right now ?
Furthermore. As I examine the help file > about live, it reports LIVE 8 and not the updated version is should read aka live 8.2.2 (which is only 22 hours old right now)…the tech support is closed until Monday, and want to know amap.

the apc version SHOULD work exactly like a full version of LIVE, except with less tracks/effects/scenes etc. here is a comparison chart http://www.ableton.com/pages/2010/apc_20/apc_comparison

it shouldn't.....unless you downloaded the demo version...if you just upgraded, trust me, it will stay on your computer until you delete it.

i hope it stays, as i cannot afford the full version, and didn't know it would be called "trial" (which scares me )

and now i just got to learn what all that stuff im missing even does !
