I have two problems when using the 'Soundtoys' plugins (crystallizer, decapitator etc) in Ableton Live 8.
Problem 1: The devices keep adding automation against my wishes! If I'm duplicating a couple of bars of audio the first bars will have the settings I am happy with on the plugin and then when it plays through to the next bars it will add all kinds of crazy automation to the plugin, changing almost ever setting including the effects patch I have selected.
Problem 2: When I save and close my arrangement and reopen all of the plugins switch to default settings. It also happens even if I save the patch. This doesn't happen to any of my other plugins.
Anyone else using Sound toys and having similar problems? Real pain in the ass because I love these plugins! I'm having to spend a lot of time when I reopen arrangements getting the settings back to how I left them- and often I can't remember exactly how that was.
