Automation Turned Off

this happens once in awhile and i don't know what i did. what did i do and how do i get the automation back on? thx!

try Back to Arrangement, the Red Button with 3 lines and a reversed arrow at the top middle of Lives main window.

To expand on this a bit: if you mess with an automated parameter while Arrangement view is playing, the automation becomes disabled in order to let you keep messing with it. The Back To Arrangement button goes back to whatever the arrangement was doing.
